The Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) sits proudly in the Riverbank Precinct, which is rapidly evolving to create a new hub for Adelaide, incorporating new research, health and medical centres, educational institutions, sport, entertainment, convention and event facilities.

This is your chance to be part of this exciting, up and coming precinct with opportunities for suitably experienced and motivated individuals to join our innovative main kitchen as a casual Chef.

Working with some of the most experienced and highly regarded Chefs in the state, the successful candidate must be trade qualified (completed an Australian apprenticeship or passed the appropriate trade test), be a versatile all-rounder with a positive attitude and the capacity to thrive in a structured team-based environment.

Demonstrated experience in quality establishments with high-volume food production, proven ability to work well under pressure, excellent time management skills and a passion for the food and hospitality industry, will see you as highly regarded for this role.

Possessing good communication skills and strong attention to detail, you will understand the requirements for food preparation to prescribed international standards, together with maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.

Good availability and flexibility over a 7-day roster, working days, nights and weekends is paramount.
