The Organisation

Adelaide Venue Management Corporation, operator of three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC), Coopers Stadium (CS) and are the proud presenting partner of concerts and functions at The Drive.

 

As the result of a recent internal promotion, AVM currently has an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Operations Coordinator, which would suit a dynamic individual who enjoys working with others as part of a successful team.

The Role:

Predominantly working at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium and reporting to the Guest Services Manager, this position will be responsible to support the Guest Services Team in delivering Food & Beverages at publically ticketed events, to the highest standard.

The position also exists to provide back-up support for the coordination and operation of all event-related food & beverage requirements, including stock ordering and control for concession / kiosks outlets and backstage catering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock take and management.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • To provide support and assistance when required during events.
  • Inventory.
  • Ordering of stock.
  • H&L experience preferred.

About you

  • To be self-motivated, with a positive demeanor.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be an innovative thinker, with a demonstrated ability to initiate, implement and adapt to change.
  • Proven experience in the delivery of event-related food and beverages.
  • Exceptional organisational and people management skills.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including some out of hours and weekend work.
