Are you a qualified Cold Larder Chef looking for an exciting new adventure and healthy work-life balance?

A rare opportunity has become available for a full-time Cold Larder Chef de Partie to join our dedicated and highly skilled Main Kitchen team at the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC).

Owned and operated by Adelaide Venue Management (AVM), the world-class Adelaide Convention Centre offers a state-of-the-art kitchen—considered one of the best equipped in the country—along with the opportunity to produce innovative cuisine for some the largest events in South Australia.

This role is based predominantly within the Main Kitchen Cold Larder Section, with a mix of shifts across a 7 day roster to provide you the freedom to produce restaurant-quality food at the highest level, while still enjoying a great work life balance.

Reporting to the Larder Sous Chef, this role will suit a creative, passionate, and upbeat career-chef, who thrives in a high volume, quality-driven environment. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and presentation and be motivated to continually improve your culinary skills and contribute fresh ideas.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Significant proven experience within a large scale, multi-faceted kitchen
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to all other areas of the kitchen.
  • To be thoroughly versed in HACCP and Food Safety Protocols, with a demonstrated adherence to the practical implementation of such standards
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet stringent timelines
