Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC); Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC); and Coopers Stadium (CS); in addition to functions and events at The Drive.
We’re currently seeking enthusiastic Front of House and Barista Team Members to join our vibrant Home Ground Cafe team on a casual basis.
Located in the heart of the Adelaide Convention Centre’s stunning East Building, Home Ground Cafe is a modern dining destination overlooking the River Torrens. With relaxed indoor and outdoor spaces and a full-service bar, we deliver quality food and service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that attracts locals, visitors, and event guests alike.
About the Role
You’ll be the face of Home Ground Cafe, delivering warm, engaging service across table service, customer interactions, and barista duties. Working closely with the management team, you’ll thrive during busy service periods, ensure every guest has a great experience, and contribute positively to a supportive, team-focused environment.
You’ll bring a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Customer service, barista, or café experience is highly regarded but not essential, as full training is provided. Flexibility is key, you’ll be available to work across weekdays, weekends, and event days at the Adelaide Convention Centre, at the Home Ground Cafe.
