Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC); Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC); and Coopers Stadium (CS); in addition to functions and events at The Drive (TD).
We’re searching for experienced cooks who come alive in high-energy environments and take real pride in sending out consistently exceptional food.
You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with a team of professional chefs who know how to move fast without compromising quality. Fresh ingredients. Big flavours. Service that needs to hit every single time. You’ll be a key player in delivering high-quality dishes to patrons attending concerts, major events and year-round entertainment experiences. Every plate matter because every guest experience matters.
You bring proven experience as a cook. A positive, can-do mindset that lifts the kitchen when the pace intensifies. Reliability that your team can count on without question. The kind of work ethic that shows up early, stays sharp, and backs the person next to you.
This role runs across a 24/7 roster, which means days, nights, weekends and public holidays are all part of the rhythm. You’ll need genuine willingness to learn, grow and adapt in a fast-paced environment where no two events feel quite the same.
