Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC); Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC); and Coopers Stadium (CS); in addition to functions and events at The Drive (TD).
The Adelaide Entertainment Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Attendant Team Leader to join our team on a casual basis.
This is a hands-on role offering flexibility, variety and the excitement of major events, where no two days are the same. You will lead from the front, ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly, efficiently and to the highest standard.
As Kitchen Stewarding Team Leader, you will lead the stewarding team, support chefs with the movement of equipment and food between AEC, CS and TD venues, and ensure every service and function operates seamlessly.
You will oversee cleaning of all crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen equipment, maintain strict hygiene standards, manage chemical use and waste, inspect cleaned items for quality and maintain compliance with ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System. You will also monitor labour costs, drive daily efficiencies and contribute to event setup and service delivery.
We are looking for a confident leader with supervisory experience in large-scale kitchens across hospitality, mining or healthcare. You thrive under pressure, understand food safety inside out, and know how to motivate a team to deliver high standards every shift. Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, including nights and weekends, is essential.
If you are ready to lead from the front and take ownership of a critical kitchen function, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
