This is a rare opportunity to join Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) as our Technology Hybrid & Systems Specialist, where you'll combine your expertise across Audio Visual, IT and hybrid event technologies to deliver exceptional experiences at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Technology Hybrid & Systems Specialist, you'll work closely with the Technology Solutions Manager, operational teams and IT to ensure our venue technology systems deliver exceptional experiences for clients and support the successful delivery of events.

You'll:

  • Maintain, support and enhance venue technology systems to ensure reliable operation for event delivery.
  • Provide specialist technical support for event technology and client connectivity services.
  • Coordinate and verify technology and network services are established and tested prior to events.
  • Maintain and support digital signage systems and associated venue technology.
  • Monitor and maintain supported technology systems in accordance with organisational security standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide specialist technical support to internal teams.
  • Contribute technical expertise to technology projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with Technology Services, IT and other stakeholders to deliver reliable technology outcomes.
  • Participate in scheduled after-hours maintenance and provide after-hours operational support and call-out assistance when required.

About You

You'll bring:

  • Experience supporting professional audio visual and event technology systems.
  • Knowledge of integrated AV systems, AV-over-IP technologies and system integration principles.
  • Intermediate networking knowledge, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing and network troubleshooting.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting client technology and connectivity services.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing as part of a high-performing team.
  • Flexibility to participate in after-hours maintenance, operational support and urgent call-out activities as required.
