Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is South Australia’s leading provider of venue management services. It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC); Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC); and Coopers Stadium (CS); in addition to functions and events at The Drive.

Are you a hands-on, dynamic event professional with a passion for creating flawless experiences?

The Adelaide Convention Centre is seeking an experienced Event Manager to lead the seamless delivery of events at one of Australia’s premier venues.

In this fast-paced, high-energy role, you’ll oversee front-of-house operations for conferences, events, and banquets. You’ll be a natural leader who inspires and develops a high-performing team, ensuring every event runs smoothly, teams are motivated, and safety protocols are always met. As the primary client liaison, you’ll guide clients through their event journey, ensuring Event Guarantees are completed and signed, while maintaining impeccable venue presentation.

You’ll manage event documentation, inventory, and team timesheets, while contributing to planning, streamlining processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. With your strong knowledge of the events industry, WHS requirements, and liquor licensing, you’ll ensure every detail meets our high standards and supports our environmental sustainability initiatives.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work Monday to Sunday, including nights and extended hours, giving you the opportunity to be at the heart of Adelaide’s premier events destination, delivering unforgettable experiences to clients from around the world.
