Adelaide Venue Management (AVM) is looking for an experienced Utilities and Housekeeping Manager to lead our Cleaning and Stewarding teams at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

It is responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic venues: Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC), and Coopers Stadium (CS), in addition to functions and events at The Drive (TD).

About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Chef & Special Projects, with a secondary reporting line to the Floor Operations Manager, you'll oversee daily cleaning and stewarding operations, maintain our five-star venue standards and ensure our teams are ready to deliver exceptional experiences for every event.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise, coach and develop our Cleaning and Stewarding teams.
  • Keep venue facilities, kitchens and work areas clean, safe and hygienic.
  • Ensure crockery, cutlery and glassware are ready for events and functions.
  • Coordinate staff rosters, equipment, stock and daily operations.
  • Maintain workplace safety, food hygiene and waste management standards.
  • Monitor staffing budgets, stock levels and operational expenses.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous supervisory experience in a large hospitality or similar environment.
  • Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or stewarding operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing staff rosters, training and performance.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety, food safety and chemical handling.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 roster, as required.
